- Senior Director MIS (PEC-20)
Qualification:
BE/B.Sc. (Computer Engineering/ Computer System Engineering/ Software Engineering) (Minimum required education is sixteen years registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC);
M.C.S./M.Sc. (Computer Science)/ BCS/ B.S.IT or equivalent (min. 16 years of education) duly recognized by NCEAC/HEC.
Candidates with a Postgraduate Degree (M Phil or MS) duly recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) in computer-related fields, computer engineering, MBA (IT), or IT-related fields will be preferred.
Experience:
Minimum required qualification 17 years after graduation(16 years) with at least five years of managerial position experience in the field of Computer Systems/ IT/MIS and must have proven experience (duly supported by experience letters) in the following areas:
- Digital Transformation
- Project Management
- Data Migrations
- Develop and execute the IT & Automation strategy in light of Digital transformation
- Database/Oracle/SQL Server/Open Source Dbs.
- Implementation of IT Policy
- Data Integration with Organization
- Software Services Architecture and Development
- E-governance/office automation systems
- Related Skills/Certifications
The candidates with training, certifications, and short courses in Management. leadership, coaching, or IT-related fields will be preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the IT and Automation strategy in light of digital transformation and PEC’s overall goals and objectives.
- Established and maintained a strong IT development team to focus on current PEC challenges and deliver technology solutions.
- You must manage and lead the professionals, and promote the departmental achievement targets.
- Drive digital transformation and innovation by identifying and implementing emergency technologies to enhance operational efficiency and productivity.
- Oversee the planning, development, and maintenance of the company’s IT infrastructure and applications.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, data protection standards, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Look after new trends in the industry and make sure it is implemented for the team’s betterment and departmental improvement.
